A board, usually ornately carved, attached along the projecting edge of a gable roof. Also can be called bargeboard.
A spiral scroll on an Ionic capital; smaller versions appear on Ionic, Composite and Corinthian capitals. A scroll form used on Ionic and Cornithian columns.
